CHRISTMAS EVE

On Christmas Eve night when you go to sleep,
remember my children you should not make a peep.
For Santa will be watching you all through the night,
till the moment comes to make his famous flight.
Through the sky, between the moon and stars.
We lie asleep and dream that the next rooftop Santa lands on will be ours.
Our minds they race, our hearts skip a beat,
till we wake Christmas morning to a holiday treat of....
Beautiful gifts under the tree that's a glow.
Outside children are laughing and singing as they play in the snow.
Wonderful aromas they fill the air,
of gingerbread houses built with care.
As we laugh and sing with family and friends,
suddenly one child speaks and says,
" I HOPE CHRISTMAS NEVER ENDS ! "
