BORED

The sun is shining and I'm stuck inside
By the time I get out the sun will decide to hide
The kids are playing out in the yard
While I'm stuck sitting here like a prison guard
The phone barely rings, I'm hotter than hell
Has time stood still? Where's the five o-clock bell?
Is it time to leave? I just can't wait!
My head and my pillow have an important date
I can't stop yawning, my mouth is wide open
Is it 5 yet? Can't blame a girl for hoping
These are the words of a woman that always works
And never enjoys the outside perks
